Many playing opportunities outside of Verona Lacrosse Club exist. The following information is provided as a convenience to VLC players and does not constitute endorsement by VLC.

 

Boys Clinics, Camps, and Travel Teams

  • Amplify Lacrosse Camps and Leagues
  • True Lacrosse Wisconsin 
    • Tryouts for the upcoming year (fall/winter '19, summer 20) will be held at Genesee Lake Rd Park in Oconomowoc on August 24

      The schedule for tryouts is as follows:

      10:00-11:30 am - 2026/27 (u12)

      11:30-1:00 pm - 2024/25 (u14)

      1:00 - 2:30 pm - 2023-21 (High School)

      There will be a $20 charge for tryouts. However, if you register for tryouts before August 1 there will be a 50% discount.

  • Dane County Coyotes Lacrosse has been running summer teams since 2012 and our goal has always been to serve and connect the entire Madison lacrosse community. This year we’ll be running three tryout-based Elite teams in addition to the ‘open registration’ teams and clinics included in the flyer. 
  • Stags Lacrosse is Wisconsin's newest club lacrosse team, seeking experienced players for travel teams. 
    • ‚ÄčFall 2019: 12U, 14U, and JV opportunities. **14U will field two teams, many opportunities** Registration begins August 2. Details about Fall season
  • NEW: Alpha Lacrosse (formerly Legends Lacrosse, Brookfield/Waukesha)
    • Fall 2019: Offering Regional and National level teams - Tryouts August 24 and 25
    • The Regional program will offer regional tournaments and competition for those looking to retain or sharpen their skills during the fall months. Optional practices are offered throughout September and early October to minimize conflicts with other Fall sports.
    • The National program, is currently, only offered at the High School level. These teams will be grade based and comprised of athletes with Collegiate aspirations. Their skills will be showcased at elite national recruiting events.

  • Forward Lacrosse - Fall Clinics (locations vary)

    • High School - Position specific clinics for goalies, face-off specialists, offensive and defensive players; experienced coaches 

    • Youth U10, U12, U14 - Exciting and engaging approach to fundamental skill development

    • Fall League - High School; individuals may sign-up

 

Girls Clinics, Camps, and Travel Teams

  • Vibe Lacrosse - 12U, 14U, and high school programs
  • NEW: Alpha Lacrosse - Fall Lacrosse begins Sept. 7
    • 2020/21/22 Alpha High School Girls (Delafield/Milwaukee/Waukesha)
    • The Girls Program will see Marissa Pelligrini added as director of the renamed Alpha Girls Lacrosse. Marissa will be working alongside several of her Carthage College teammates to round out the girls coaching staff. Note our girls teams will not have a tryout date, they will be starting their fall season at their first practice. Dates and times will be forthcoming.
